The Clubhouse, Sand Coulee Memorial
Welcome again!
Usually, there is no better way to have some fun than with good friends, food, drink, and golf.  To that end, and in memory of Joseph E May, the Black Eagle Invitational Golf Tournament was conceived.  The course is no Augusta National or Pebble Beach, but it is designed to provide a good test of your inventiveness and shot making prowess.  The competitions are designed to be fun and have as much to do with luck as anything else.
"This course is a great equalizer, you don't have to be long to score."       Arnold Palmster
So, here's the plan for the competitions.  Get to the course about Noon or so and warm up and play a minny practice round.  The first tee time will be at 1:00.  Twice round the course for a par of 36.
# 1  Dog Leg Left
# 10  Dog Leg Right
Naturally, there are some rules governing play, but no one has been deemed referree yet.  The first rule is you must hit a shot over the bridge and over the culvert during each "nine".  Ball in the water is one stroke penalty and must be replayed from where it FIRST crossed into the pond.
"Water comes into play on almost every shot, and even some putts!"
  Jake Nicklaus
"The course is so tough that even my prodigious length doesn't help me."
